Oliver has been involved in accounting and the preparation of financial statements for 30 years. As an auditor in Audit & Assurance at a Big 4, he supports his clients in telling their unique corporate story in the annual report. As a “balance sheet fluencer”, he helps interested users and preparers to understand these stories with online training courses developed by him and as a lecturer at the University of Zurich and the University of Worms. He appears at many national and international conferences as a speaker on the topics of accounting and financial statement analysis, is the author of numerous specialist articles and a book author. Since March 2024, he and his counterpart Nikolaj Schmolcke have regularly published the “Bilanzfluencer - Podcast”, in which they reveal the secrets of balance sheets in an entertaining way.
